Outpatient Medical Coder

What You’ll Do:

As a Medical Coder, you’ll play a vital role in delivering quality service and ensuring compliance.

Your responsibilities include:


* Accurately coding provider services using ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and CPT standards across a variety of clinical settings.


* Meeting and exceeding minimum production standards as per client requirements.


* Tracking and documenting educational opportunities for providers to improve the coding process.


* Staying updated through on-the-job training and in-service programs to ensure expertise in coding practices.


* Adhering to coding guidelines and legal requirements to maintain compliance with federal and state regulations.


* Actively participating in virtual team meetings to align with organizational goals.


* Reporting directly to the Coding Manager and contributing to a high-performance team culture.

* A degree in BS Nursing, Allied Health, or a related field.
