As a Director of Security Engineering at JPMorganChase within the Cybersecurity and Technology Controls organization, you lead at least one technical area with a security engineering focus, and drive impact within teams, technologies, and projects across departments.

Utilize your in-depth knowledge of software, applications, technical processes, and product management to drive multiple complex projects and initiatives, while serving as a primary decision maker for your teams and a driver of innovation to deliver security solutions.

You will lead a globally distributed organization of approximately 20 engineers responsible for building and operating security platforms at enterprise scale.

This role owns the delivery of an AI-powered security copilot that enables Product Security Leads to scale risk identification and remediation, as well as firm-wide endpoint and server anti-virus capabilities.

You will partner closely with product, infrastructure, and application teams to embed security by design while delivering resilient, automated security outcomes across the firm.

Job Responsibilities


* Lead and scale a globally distributed security engineering organization delivering high-impact platforms and services across the firm


* Own the strategy, execution, and lifecycle management of an AI-driven security copilot that enables Product Security Leads to operate at scale


* Be accountable for the design, deployment, and operation of endpoint and server anti-virus capabilities across heterogeneous environments


* Own the design, delivery, and operation of container security products, including image scanning, policy enforcement, and runtime protection across enterprise container platforms


* Drive security platform adoption by partnering with application, infrastructure, and product teams to embed controls into developer and operational workflows


* Set technical direction and architectural standards for security engineering solutions, ensuring scalability, resilience, and automation


* Translate firm-wide security objectives into measurable engineering roadmaps, milestones, and outcomes


* Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across the business, product, and technology teams


* Be accountable for decisions that influence teams' resources, budget, tactical operations, and the execution and implementation of processes and procedures
