Junior Payment Operations Analyst (Hybrid - Tallahassee, FL)
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare, validate and analyze financial reports related to client payments received and processed.
- Print and reconcile client refunds and voucher checks.
- Perform analysis of multiple accounts and financial records.
- Complete quality assurance analysis on program calculations.
- Follow all internal protocols to maintain confidentiality and financial security of all program and client payment data.
- Assist in creating, updating, and implementing new processes to enhance balancing procedures.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of client remittance processing and procedures.
- Conduct research and analysis on client invoicing, exceptions, refunds, and other special projects as assigned.
- Create, update, monitor, and close tickets as necessary.
- Work closely with department leadership and systems teams to resolve system errors or discrepancies.
- Complete intensive User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as required for new processes or process fixes.
- Work with Business Analysts to assist with enhancements, fixes, and bugs.
- Assist with BOT maintenance, enhancements and new development and monitor BOT process for inaccuracies.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field.
- 0-3 years of relevant professional experience required.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Must be willing and able to work 8:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday, with hours that occasionally change based on business need.
- Must be willing and able to work onsite 3 days per week at Tallahassee, FL office, as well as remotely 2 days per week.
- Must be a Florida resident.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication.
- ERP Systems experience with Oracle Financial.
- Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, Formulas).
- Payment processing.
- General Ledger (GL) reporting.
- System testing.
- Client and vendor liaison.
- Fast-paced environment adaptability.
- Ability to work independently.
- Self-motivated.
