Diablo Valley Post Acute is seeking a reliable and motivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team.

This full-time position plays a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Pay: Starting at $23.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities


* Assist in maintaining the facility, grounds, and equipment in a safe and efficient manner


* Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance tasks


* Respond to maintenance requests promptly


* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and facility policies


* Maintain a clean and organized work environment


* Support facility improvement projects as assigned


* Assist with inspections and identify maintenance needs

Qualifications


* Previous maintenance experience preferred


* Basic knowledge of building maintenance and repair techniques


* Ability to use hand and power tools safely


* Strong work ethic and attention to detail


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team


* Reliable attendance and dependability required
