Administrative Services Manager II - Fire

The Riverside County Fire Department is seeking to hire an Administrative Services Manager II in Perris.

This position involves overseeing, planning, and directing the daily operations of the department's Human Resources functions.

Key responsibilities include managing recruitment and onboarding, labor relations, grievances, employee services, performance evaluations, and other related HR activities, as well as handling additional assignments as required.

The department is looking for candidates with supervisory or management experience in a human resources setting.

• Act as a member of the department's management team; participate in the development and implementation of operational and administrative policies; participate in the development of new programs to facilitate long and short-term strategies and financial plan objectives; coordinate activities with other divisions, departments, public entities, and agencies in order to ensure that administrative and fiscal objectives are achieved.

• Direct the department's accounting, fiscal and budgetary matters; prepare written justification for budget proposals; explain and defend proposals and alternatives to top managers or committees; recommend transfer of funds within an organization at times of budget short fall; authorize payment vouchers, requisitions and a variety of fiscal reports and expenditures; recommend actions to balance the budget; produce various fiscal and financial reports.
