Group Compliance Specialist – Policy & Awareness

Context

Within the Ethics & Compliance department, you support the implementation and continuous improvement of Schneider Electric's Ethics & Compliance program.

You contribute to compliance policy management, regulatory compliance activities, global awareness initiatives, the Ethics Delegates community, and the Trust Center.

Reporting line

Reporting to: Group Compliance Lead - Policy, Regulatory & Awareness.

Location

This role is based in France, in Rueil-Malmaison.

Your role

Support the roll-out and continuous improvement of the Compliance program by managing the lifecycle of compliance policies, contributing to regulatory and reporting obligations, driving global awareness initiatives, and empowering local relays (Ethics Delegates / Regional Compliance Officers) to strengthen program adoption.

Your missions


* Support the lifecycle of compliance policies (creation, review, updates) to ensure alignment with regulations and business risks.


* Lead policy update/creation projects with the Group Compliance Lead, Group HR Compliance Officer and Regional Compliance Officers.


* Act as a point of contact for policy-related queries and provide guidance to stakeholders.


* Contribute to extra-financial reporting obligations (e.g., CSRD), regulatory watch and timely responses to rating agencies and audits.


* Design and maintain the yearly Group compliance communication plan; develop and promote global awareness initiatives with internal communications.


* Create practical materials (guides, toolkits, videos) to help employees and regional teams navigate ethics and compliance requirements.


* Drive engagement through campaigns such as Trust Week, Speak Up Day and anti-corruption awareness.


* Manage, train and support the Ethics Delegates community (onboarding, regular touchpoints) to strengthen their ambassador role.


* Manage the Trust Center: answer partner requests, maintain an up-to-date FAQ and automate recurring questions as much as possible.

Your profile


* Bachelor's degree in Law or Compliance.


* 2-3 years of experience in a compliance-related role.


* Experience in an international environment.


* Fluent English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.

Your skills


* Knowledge of international compliance regulations and ability to translate requirements into operational guidance.


* Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong stakeholder orientation.


* Good sense of organization, attention to detail and delivery quality.


* Team spirit and ability to work in networks across time zones.


* Ability to lead cross-functional projects (planning, coordination, follow-up).
