We are currently looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and dedicated Activities Assistant to join our team.

Position Overview:
As an Activities Assistant, you will play a key role in organizing, facilitating, and assisting with recreational and therapeutic activities for our residents.

Your role will be essential in enhancing their quality of life and promoting engagement within our community.

Key Responsibilities:


* Assist in the planning and implementation of daily, weekly, and special events for residents.


* Set up and prepare activity spaces, including gathering necessary supplies.


* Engage with residents during activities, providing support, encouragement, and assistance as needed.


* Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for residents to participate in activities.


* Maintain activity records, track participation, and report any feedback from residents or family members.


* Work closely with the Activities Coordinator to ensure that all activities meet the interests and needs of residents.


* Foster relationships with residents, families, and other staff to ensure an effective and collaborative approach to programming.


* Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment during activities.

Qualifications:


* Previous experience in an activity-related role is preferred but not required.


* Compassionate, energetic, and a strong desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.


* Ability to work well in a team and independently.


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


* Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing needs.


* Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
