Lead Incentives Program Analyst
ROLE SUMMARY
Maintains responsibility for financial and analytical support of all Subaru of America (SOA) product incentive programs, including monthly Subaru Motors Finance (SMF) program rollouts to the Field.
Handles critical relationships with SOA sales operations and production management, as well as key external business partners including SOA's private label finance relationship with SMF.
Leads development and maintenance of financial models for effective pricing analysis of SMF programs, as well as new vehicle sales penetrations and off-lease remarketing programs.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
* Leads staff of Incentives Analysts in creation, review, and distribution of monthly SMF Incentives programs.
Independently conducts analysis of financial and market data from multiple sources to present credible Incentive Program plans.
* Reviews monthly Chase bill audit process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and completeness.
Monitors the process, recommends process improvements, and provides direction and oversight to junior staff conducting audits.
* Prepares Quarterly Residual Reserves studies, Subaru Motors Finance (SMF) Interim Reviews, semi-annual Subaru Corporation (SBR) Guaranty, and EMC schedules.
* Reviews incentive communications including review of SMF marketing materials to expedite and control the flow of information to various areas including Regions, Zones, retailers, Subaru.com, Subarunet, Dealer.com, Independent Distributors, etc.
Serves as main point of contact for communications development and distribution before manager approval.
* Coordinates vendor relationship with ALG, providing carline and model year vehicle data and incentives for determination of Subaru carlines' Residual Values.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provides support to company Japan's Financial Instruments and Exchange Law (J-SOX) control requirements as needed.
* Serves in a lead role in ensuring department workflow optimization, reporting, and analysis of effectiveness of the unit including efficiencies through continued automation and/or utilization of financial software tools.
REQUIRED SKILLS & PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS
* Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and strong negotiation skills.
* Experience with retailer finance department personnel and operations.
* Experience with OneStream and PowerBI tools.
* Expert knowledge of automotive finance credit decisioning.
* Expert knowledge of retail and lease products.
* Expert user of Microsoft Office Suite and other Subaru of America (SOA) software applications.
* Proficiency with Oracle products and Microsoft Access.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 6 to 8 years of progressive experience required.
