Position Overview
As a Dietary Cook, you will play a key role in supporting the health and well-being of our residents by preparing meals that meet dietary guidelines and individual needs.

Your work directly contributes to a positive dining experience and quality of care.

Key Responsibilities


* Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus and dietary requirements


* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control standards


* Ensure proper portioning and presentation of meals


* Assist with food prep, serving, and kitchen cleanup


* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment


* Work collaboratively with dietary staff and healthcare team

Qualifications


* Previous cooking experience, preferably in a healthcare or food service setting


* Knowledge of special diets (low sodium, diabetic, etc.) is a plus


* Food Handler's Certification (or willingness to obtain)


* Strong attention to detail and time management skills


* Dependable, team-oriented, and positive attitude
