PMO Project Manager

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Determine and define projects and objectives.

- Manage project planning efforts and documentation.

- Maintain project portfolio through established tools and processes.

- Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.

- Lead project meetings and provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.

- Collaborate with team members, executive leadership, clients, and other key stakeholders for efficient and successful project execution.

- Track project costs in order to meet scope, budget, and timeline.

- Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.

- Monitor progress and make adjustments as needed.

- Oversee the change management process within the program.

- Utilize project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices through full life cycle of projects.

- Develop project scope, WBS, and integrated schedule and maintain baseline controls.
- Plan and execute lifecycle delivery from initiation through go-live/stabilization and transition/closeout.
- Align delivery artifacts to contractual obligations, PMO standards, and PMI/PMBOK practices.
- Lead cross-functional execution by setting priorities and managing dependencies.
- Direct supporting PMO resources (Analysts/Sr.

Analysts) and assign governance tasks.
- Escalate resourcing constraints and capacity conflicts.
- Facilitate project meetings, drive agenda discipline, and park non-agenda topics.
- Provide status reporting to various audiences, internal, external and executive.
- Serve as a point of contact to external clients and manage deliverable submissions and ongoing implementation related communications.
- Provide timely stakeholder updates on progress, risks, issues, decisions, and changes.
- Establish Teams channels/chats and communication rhythms for project execution.
- Monitor and control schedule, scope, cost, quality, and performance and implement corrective actions.
- Own RAID and change control discipline and escalate with options and recommendations.
- Coordinate risk review meetings and manage dependency and decision latency.
- Baseline and approve required governance artifacts and ensure audit-ready storage and traceability.
- Enforce documentation quality standards across the team and correct non-compliance.
- Embed audit readiness checkpoints into the integrated plan and governance cadence.
- Conduct lessons learned and implement improvements to PMO tools, templates, and standards.
- Coach Analysts/Sr.

Analysts on governance rigor and audit readiness.
- Support PMO assessments and proposal support deliverables.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in related field.

- 5 years of relevant professional experience required.

- Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree

- PMP Certification.

- Must have at least 5 years of progressive project management experience leading proje...
