Executive Housekeeper - InterContinental Grand Ankara (Opening Soon)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Executive Housekeeper who will lead and elevate the Housekeeping operations of our 5-star hotel.

The ideal candidate will ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction in line with international hospitality standards while supporting operational excellence and service quality.

This role will oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, efficient team management, and continuous improvement in guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

•    Manage recruitment, transfers, promotions, and exit processes in coordination with Human Resources 
•    Identify training needs, develop and implement training programs for housekeeping staff 
•    Plan weekly schedules and manage team shifts effectively 
•    Monitor team performance, provide feedback, and drive continuous improvement 
•    Strengthen employee engagement and internal communication within the department 
•    Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations 
•    Drive team contribution towards quality standards and operational excellence 

Guest Experience

•    Ensure all guest rooms and public areas are clean, well-maintained, and aligned with brand standards 
•    Deliver personalized service experiences tailored to guest expectations 
•    Handle guest complaints and manage resolution processes effectively 
•    Analyze guest feedback through systems such as “Guest Experience” platforms and take necessary actions 
•    Conduct regular room inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented 
•    Manage lost & found procedures in line with hotel policies

Responsible Business

•    Ensure housekeeping and laundry operations comply with hotel standards and procedures 
•    Plan and oversee annual cleaning, maintenance, and renovation schedules 
•    Coordinate with other departments for operational needs and improvements 
•    Ensure efficient use and maintenance of equipment, materials, and assets 
•    Manage pest control and hygiene-related processes across the hotel 
•    Oversee inventory management and ensure accurate stock control 
•    Supervise laundry operations and ensure quality and efficiency 

Financial

•    Prepare and manage the annual budget for housekeeping and laundry departments 
•    Monitor inventory levels including linen and operating supplies 
•    Conduct cost analysis and ensure alignment with budget targets 
•    Optimize resource utilization to control operational costs 
•    Provide regular financial and operational reports
