About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Learning & Development Supervisor to join our WA Mining Operations Human Resources team.

In this leadership role, you will drive capability development across site operations by guiding training delivery, mentoring teams and embedding high-quality learning systems.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring our workforce is skilled, competent and aligned with operational and safety standards.

In this role, you will:


* Lead, coach and develop a team of trainers and assessors to deliver high-quality training outcomes


* Plan and implement training programs aligned with operational priorities and workforce capability needs


* Oversee traineeship programs and support employee development pathways


* Monitor and report on training performance, identifying opportunities for improvement


* Ensure compliance with training standards, systems and audit requirements


* Support onboarding, leadership development initiatives and site-wide capability uplift

What you can bring to the role


* Relevant qualifications including Certificate IV in Workplace & Training


* Experience in workplace training and assessment within a manufacturing or operational environment


* Strong capability in developing training materials and applying adult learning and coaching techniques


* Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor individuals and teams to achieve performance outcomes


* Well-developed communication, interpersonal and documentation skills, including report writing and content development


* Strong organisational, problem-solving and systems capability, including LMS, document control systems and Microsoft Office
