About the Role

As a Staff PTA, you'll work closely with our Physical Therapists and Rehabilitation leadership to provide hands-on care and support resident recovery.

This role blends direct patient care, collaboration, and clinical documentation, giving you the opportunity to grow your skills in a dynamic skilled nursing setting.

What You'll Do


* Provide therapy treatments to residents under the direction of a Physical Therapist


* Accurately document treatments and resident progress in compliance with regulations


* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team on care plans, progress updates, and discharge planning


* Educate residents and families on exercises, safety, and fall prevention


* Assist with care conferences and rehabilitation meetings


* Support safe treatment environments and proper equipment use


* Recommend and assist with obtaining adaptive equipment to improve resident mobility and independence


* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff education as needed

What We're Looking For


* Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in California (required)


* Associate degree from an accredited PTA program


* Strong teamwork and communication skills


* Experience in skilled nursing or rehab settings preferred


* Familiarity with EHR systems (such as Net Health or PointClickCare) is a plus


* Commitment to compassionate, resident-centered care
