Job Description:


* Patient Treatment: Treat patients as directed by the Physical Therapist.


* Documentation: Record daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes according to PT Board requirements.


* Department Maintenance: Assist in maintaining the therapy department and cleaning of the treatment area.


* Patient Care Participation: Participate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences as needed.


* Treatment Execution: Treat patients based on the physician's treatment plan and communicate effectively with the healthcare team about patient progress and plans.


* Equipment Reporting: Report any problems with department equipment to ensure it is maintained in good working order.


* Family Education: Instruct patients' families or nursing staff on maintaining care programs and caregiver training in preparation for patient discharge.

Required License or Certification:


* Valid Physical Therapist Assistant License
