"Johnson & Johnson announced plans to separate our Orthopaedics business to establish a standalone orthopaedics company, operating as DePuy Synthes.

About the role

Are you passionate about turning innovative ideas into real-world manufacturing excellence? You will be responsible for the dedicated innovation facility that will help us assess, prove and implement innovations faster than ever! The role is part of the Global Manufacturing Innovation (MI) organization and will be reporting to the Manufacturing Innovation Senior Customer Manager, Cork.

This position demands a hands-on approach with a significant presence on site.

Key Responsibilities:



* The role is responsible for overseeing the operations of the Machining, 3D Printing (Additive Manufacturing) and Metallurgy laboratory located in the Cork facility.

This role ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient functioning of all facilities and equipment, enabling seamless execution of innovation activities.

As the leader of the facilities, you will champion safety, improve equipment reliability and manage technical staff to support a productive and efficient workspace.


* Ensure all safety procedures and protocols are rigorously followed.

Conduct regular safety audits, promote a safety-first culture, and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.


* Oversee the maintenance, calibration, and servicing of all equipment, supporting infrastructure and the facility.
