Position overview:
The Infection Preventionist is responsible for supporting facility-wide efforts to prevent and control infections.

This role involves surveillance, education, monitoring, and ensuring compliance with infection prevention standards.

Key responsibilities:


* Conduct facility-wide infection prevention surveillance


* Monitor and promote adherence to infection control policies and procedures


* Review and track data on healthcare-acquired infections, treatments, and control measures


* Collaborate with leadership and clinical staff on prevention strategies

Qualifications:


* Active Tennessee RN or LPN license (required)


* Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills


* Team-oriented, flexible, caring, and compassionate


* Preferred:
+ Prior experience in Infection Control
+ Experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF)
+ APIC Certification
