Facilities Technician (Buildings \u0026 Grounds)

Yaskawa is looking for a Facilities Technician to be based in Buffalo Grove, IL with periodic travel to the Southeastern WI/ Northern IL locations.

The ideal candidate will be able to:


* Perform intermediate facilities maintenance functions, such as: light bulb and ballast changes, electrical and plumbing diagnostics and repairs, general grounds keeping, painting, furniture repair and moving.


* Develop/plan, quote and coordinate more complex repairs or projects with external contractors.

Qualifications


* High school diploma or GED, or equivalent work experience.


* Minimum of five years of administrative/maintenance support services.


* Ability to use a variety of hand tools, copy machines, postage/mailing equipment.

Along with a valid drivers' license.


* Strong attention to detail with foresight to troubleshoot maintenance problems and maintain preventative maintenance programs.
