Wash & Fuel Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Fleet Maintenance Associate to support the cleanliness, safety, and operational readiness of our tractor and trailer fleet.

This hands-on role involves cleaning, inspecting, and relocating equipment, as well as assisting with light mechanical tasks.

Responsibilities



* Operating high-pressure washers and wash brushes to clean tractors and trailers throughout the shift.


* Moving equipment between the distribution center, fleet maintenance facility, wash bay, and external repair locations.


* Inspecting and replacing tires on tractors and trailers as needed.


* Maintaining a clean and organized parking lot and waste disposal areas.


* Safely backing up tractors with trailers and handling power tools such as impact wrenches.


* Assisting trailer and diesel mechanics with light-duty tasks for training or operational support.


* Performing duties in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow).

Qualifications



* The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum 5 years of mechanical experience


* Ability to work independently with limited supervision


* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

while pushing, pulling, lifting, bending and stooping and using lifting techniques and move loads


* Ability to continuously use high pressure washer and wash brush during shift


* Ability to work in all types of weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow, etc.)


* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
