Estimator - Metal Roofing

Responsibilities and Duties


* Prepare detailed and accurate estimates for construction projects, utilizing software such as Microsoft Excel, Bluebeam Revu, and other construction estimating tools.


* Analyze blueprints, specifications, and related documents to determine all necessary labor, material, and time requirements.


* Develop and present comprehensive material and project cost estimates to clients and management.


* Negotiate with clients to agree on project scope, pricing, and timing.


* Prepare and submit bids and proposals for projects.


* Maintain accurate and organized records of all estimates and bids.


* Ensure all estimates are compliant with company price pages, standard details, and job specifications.


* Work collaboratively with project managers, clients, and internal teams throughout the estimating process.

Qualifications and Requirements


* Proven Experience in reading and interp[eting technical documents to include drawings, specifications, blueprints, etc.


* Experience as an Estimator, preferably within the commercial construction or roofing industry a plus.


* Strong knowledge of construction estimating software, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel.


* Experience with Bluebeam Revu and/or Topview estimating software is a plus.


* Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.


* Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for presenting estimates and bids to both clients and internal management.


* Ability to negotiate effectively and manage client relationships.


* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
