Senior IT Project Manager - Veterans Evaluation Services

Maximus is currently hiring for a Senior IT Project Manager to join our Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) team.

This is a remote opportunity.

The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for developing strategies and tactical implementation of new products lines.

The position also works closely with business development and sales groups to identify upcoming business needs as well.

- Due to contract requirements, only a US Citizen or a Green Card holder can be considered for this opportunity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop strategies and tactical implementation of new products and improvements to existing product lines.
- Work closely with business development and sales groups to identify upcoming needs.
- Develop a detailed plan for implementation and roll out.
- Follow up by evaluating product performance.

- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise IT projects, ensuring alignment with PMO standards, business strategy, and technology roadmaps

- Define project objectives, develop integrated plans, manage scope, schedule, quality, and risks across full lifecycle

- Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels-including technical leads, and business owners-to ensure delivery success

- Drive adherence to governance protocols, including stage-gate reviews, KPI tracking, and executive reporting

- Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, remove roadblocks, and ensure transparent communication of status and impacts

- Champion best practices in project management and contribute to continuous improvement of PMO frameworks and tools

- Provide leadership to matrixed teams and mentor as needed

will provide all necessary computer equipment that is to be utilized to fulfil the duties of your role.

New hires will not be exempt from using company provide equipment

- Home Office Requirements Using Maximus-Provided Equipment:

o Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to [1] www.speedtest.net)

o Connectivity to the internet via either Wi-Fi or Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router

o Private work area and adequate power source

o Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US

- In accordance with SCA contract requirements, remote work must be conducted from the location specified at the time of hire.

Travel is not permitted, and you are required to remain at your designated home location for all work activities.

Minimum Requirements

- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of project management experience.
- Delivers multiple small and large projects with high values and high risk.
- Provides leadership for the project team to ensure that the project is delivered to specifications, on time and within budget.
