Software Engineering Senior Advisors- Hybrid

The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna -Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsibilities-


* Gather requirements, questions, and approvals for software design and development.


* Conduct system and data analysis to better understand application requirements, data, and gaps to ensure business needs are met.


* Conduct technical design to support complex business scenarios.


* Conduct impact analysis and estimations.


* Design application architecture and configure project specific environments.

Develop code for both ETL and reporting.


* Create unit test scripts, test cases, and test automation.


* Conduct daily quality check automations, code modularization, and end-to-end testing.


* Perform code review, performance tuning and testing and process automation.

Create design documents, rulebooks, unit test documents, analysis documents, and production support manuals.


* Migrate code to different environments via CI/CD pipelines, resolve production issues, support product implementation, and schedule jobs.


* Deliver business applications starting from understanding the requirements to deploying software into production, articulating clear business objectives aligned to technical specifications, and designing and architecting solutions.


* Hybrid work schedule.

Qualifications-

Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering plus five years of experience in data warehousing and data engineering.

Must have experience with: ETL using AWS Cloud services, Data Bricks, Informatica, Teradata BTEQ, PL/SQL, Hadoop, Python, SAS; Reporting using Angular and Tableau; Oracle, Teradata, SQL server, DB2, PostgresSQL, AWS Redshift, and Snow Flake.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
