Software Engineering Senior Advisors- Hybrid

The job profile for this position is Software Engineering Senior Advisor, which is a Band 4 Contributor Career Track Role with Cigna -Evernorth Services Inc.

Responsiblities-

•Partner with multiple vendors to create estimates and delivery plans for projects or programs across an application family;
•Provide technology leadership and delivery accountability for solutions for multiple concurrent projects within an application family (i.e.

Claims, C&PS, or CS & DW);
•Ensure quality of technology delivery of multiple vendors' technology solutions for multiple concurrent projects or programs for an application family;
•Work at the highest technical level of all phases of application programming activities;
•Provide technical expertise regarding writing and modifying of complex software application programs;
•Lead work groups that are responsible for software development, design and quality testing;
•Create detailed specifications or designs, conduct quality assurance reviews of peer's application programming and act as a mentor to others in these programs;
•Identify and implement process enhancement opportunities associated with supporting the application area;
•Serve as subject matter expert for components of the team;
•Partner with architects to set direction for maturing use of/retiring/adding technology components in the ESI environment;
•Provide technical guidance to projects/programs for complex components of a multiple technology suites;
•Lead efforts to develop standard practices, components, guidelines for use of complex technology components; and
•Take actions to determine root cause of problems and drive resolution.

Qualifications-

•Master's or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering and three years of experience in a related occupation;
•OR in the alternative, a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computers or engineering and five years of experience in a related occupation;
•Experience designing and developing frontend web services for mobile applications;
•Experience monitoring health of frontend services in production;
•Experience conducting code review, bug fixes, and coordinating with quality analysis teams;
•Experience providing production/release support;
•Experience automating build/deployment process; and
•Experience using: ReactJS, Redux, Spring Boot, Boot Strap, CSS, AJAX, RESTful web services, Java, and Agile Methodology.
