Working in our services across Leeds, Scarborough and Brighouse

Permanent, full  time (37.5 hpw), Monday - Friday 

Salary £30,600 per annum and great benefits including Health Cash Plan

As Catering Manager, you look after how food and drink is delivered across our extra care services.

That means making sure our in-house teams and café leaseholders are doing a brilliant job, keeping everything safe, well-managed, and within budget.

You’re responsible for several cafés across your patch, keeping them lively, welcoming, and part of the local community.

Whether it’s planning menus, checking food safety, or working with suppliers, you make sure everything runs smoothly and feels just right. 

Typical day as a job title 


* Checking stock issues with an in-house team to plan menus, making sure everyone’s dietary needs are covered.


* A quick kitchen walk through shows everything clean, compliant, and running smoothly.


* You review a budget, spot savings, and see quality food delivered within cost.


* You help wrap up café contracts, so they are sorted with no fuss.


* You end the day with a team check-in, making sure morale is high, and the service has gone well.

You have  


* Level 3 Food Hygiene qualification (or equivalent experience)


* Previous experience managing catering operations or kitchen teams


* A solid understanding of catering budgets, stock control, and supplier relationships


* Experience creating and delivering menus for a variety of dietary needs


* To get from A to B, you’ll need a vehicle insured for business purposes.

The great news is that we’ll pay your mileage! 

Due to limits on our current certificates of sponsorship, we are not able to offer sponsorship to external candidates for this role.  This remains under regular review 

Our team  

You’ll report to Gemma, our Operations Manager for the majority of the sites you'll cover, and work alongside her team of service managers to collaboratively get the best out of the cafes in our supported settings.

We’re super passionate about what we do and really proud of the portfolio of extra care services we have developed! We’re now ready to take them to the next level!

* Flexible working hours (or we’re open to agreeing a work pattern with you)


* This is a hybrid role and you’ll spend your week shared across five sites within the region.


* Able to use technology for accurate record keeping


* You’ll need an Enhanced DBS check done and we pay for that.
