Senior, Java Data Analyst
About the Role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our Java Program team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for consolidating data from various sources, conducting thorough analyses, and providing actionable insights that will drive decision-making and strategic actions for the program.
This role requires a strong proficiency in data analysis techniques and an understanding of Java.
Responsibilities:
* Data Consolidation: Gather, clean, and consolidate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
* Data Analysis: Perform complex data analyses to identify gaps, trends, patterns, and insights that support program objectives.
* Reporting: Develop and maintain comprehensive reports and dashboards that communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
Analyze user and license data on a regular basis and prepare management reports.
* Support Decision Making: Translate data insights into actionable recommendations for informed strategic decisions and drive program success.
* Collaboration: Work closely with program team members to understand data needs and provide analytical support.
* Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in data collection and analysis methodologies.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
* Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably within a software development environment.
* Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and experience with Java.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and present findings clearly.
* Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
Key Skills Required:
* Strong experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
* Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and techniques.
* Knowledge of machine learning concepts is a plus.
* Attention to detail and analytical skills.
* Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint capability.
