As a Regional Technician Specialist, you will be responsible for facilitating facilitate training initiatives and mentor Pharmacy Associates.
Frequent independent judgments are essential.

Responsibilities of a Regional Technician Specialist:
* Track & evaluate progress of training of the Pharmacy Associates within the region through monitoring and observance and make independent judgment decisions as needed.
* Conduct training according to established Rite Aid Pharmacy Technician Training Program curriculum.
* Assist Region Pharmacy Leaders in the execution of Rite Aid training programs.
* Travel to stores within the region to assist with training and developing Pharmacy Associates.
* Perform module and/or job certifications consistent with the Rite Aid Pharmacy Technician Training Program.
* Participate with the interviewing, hiring, and onboarding process and making hiring recommendations.
* Assists pharmacy manager to assess Pharmacy Associates and provide mentoring and coaching for performance improvement.

Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
* S.
Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Rite Aid Pharmacy Technician Certification or National Certification (PTCB or NHA) is required.
* 1 year of experience in Retail and/or pharmacy operations; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
* Strong communication skills required.

* Pharmacy Technician License required by State (National Certification in states where registration/license is not offered) required.
