Role reports to: Head of Corporate Affairs India

Location: Mumbai

Travel %: Occasional (10%)

What you will do

The primary responsibility of the incumbent will be to drive and execute on the Government Affairs engagement plan for the state of Maharashtra which is strategic for Kenvue's India operations.

Kenvue has its country Head Office, Mfg.

plant and the R&D centre in the state.

In addition, one would be expected to build and maintain proactive relations with government stakeholders in other key states of interest.

The incumbent will also support Head of Corporate Affairs on strategic initiatives driven at national and state levels.

Key Responsibilities


* Develop and implement government affairs plan for the key states especially for Maharashtra to support businesses


* Monitor and analyze legislative and regulatory developments at the states that may impact the organization


* Shape policy at the states to support Kenvue's businesses by building and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including legislators, government officials and industry associations


* Develop strong understanding of the Company's business including our people, operations, and external operating environment


* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations


* Report on the progress of all emerging issues at the state to senior management

What we are looking for

Required Qualifications


* 10 years of experience in government affairs or related field at the state level especially in Maharashtra


* Experience in large MNC in Consumer Healthcare / FMCG domain


* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in political science, public policy, or related field


* Strong understanding of industry regulatory & healthcare policy environment


* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
