Business Development Manager, Automotive
BDM, Automotive Tiers - Low Power & Signal
Job Description / Justification
Act as the eyes, ears, and voice for low power and signal segment within automotive vertical, establishing yourself as a subject matter expert, point of contact, and ambassador for products and capabilities
Play an integral role helping our team to grow our automotive business by $35M over next 4-years ($111M CY29 target)
Identify, develop, and track new business opportunities, working closely with tier sales and BU stakeholders to overcome barriers and drive opportunities to closure (bookings/base business)
Leverage your role to increase mindshare and engagement among auto tier sales teams and customers
Drive LP&S existing, off-the-shelf solutions into customer design/applications, measured by opportunity creation and pipeline growth
Lead recurring (monthly) calls with sales to promote product and application knowledge sharing, product pipeline and capability updates, and sales pipeline / opportunity updates
Help to identify new or high-growth customers to align BU/sales resources and customer support
Collaborate with BU partners to align and build out new product pipeline and development efforts by sourcing and communicating VOC, application requirements
Engage with product design engineering, project management, manufacturing, and operations teams to communicate product and customer requirements
Assist with market and industry POVs, and competitor analyses so that BU can more effectively address trends, gaps, and needs
Support BU product and corporate marketing with your insights and feedback as it concerns industry specific messaging, asset and campaign development, and product introductions or releases
For this role, we anticipate paying $90,000- $120,000 per year.
This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
