Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


* Purchase inventory and non-inventory related supplies to support personnel and manufacturing.


* Analyzes and interprets Order Action Buy Report (MR0090).


* Prepares and issues purchase orders accordingly.


* Analyzes and interprets Reschedule Buy Report (MR9000); expedites/delays deliveries of past due/early items through analysis of MRP.

Keeps delivery dates updated at 100% accuracy on all purchase orders.


* Discusses defective or unacceptable goods and/or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, suppliers, and others to determine source of trouble; determines disposition with suppliers and takes corrective action.


* Reviews defective/rejected materials reports.


* Supports ECN process but not limited to contributing purchasing information such as pricing, lead time, vendor code, MIN, MAX, EOQ, etc.

to ECNs in an expeditious manner (This information will be obtained through the RFQ process).

Required to manage the inventory associated to each of these said ECN's or projects.


* Develops and implements formal policies and procedures for materials management, inventory control (cycle counting), and purchasing.


* Utilize MRP system for all forecasting, tracking, and reporting of all raw materials.


* Attends production meetings daily to communicate raw material status to production; reviews immediate requirements with manufacturing and takes appropriate action.


* Develops, implements, and maintains monthly Purchasing Price Variance report; reconciles and explains PPV's.


* Maintains procurement records such as items and services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and/or inventories.


* Maintain follow-up system with suppliers to ensure prompt responses from our suppliers for quotations and delivery dates.


* Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:


* Bachelor's degree in supply chain or industrial engineering and 2 years of purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
