Press & Influence Coordinator Beauty & Perfumes

GENERAL ROLE

In close collaboration with the Métier teams and within the subsidiary Communication Hermès team, the Press & Influence Coordinator Beauty & Perfumes will initiate, develop, and execute effective PR & influencer strategies for Perfume & Beauty, in order to meet strong and qualitative visibility on Hermès Perfume & Beauty launches within proper timelines and budgets.

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES


* Enhance, leverage, and strengthen local relationships and contacts with print and online beauty press;


* Pitch story ideas to editors and work with them on on-going articles;


* Work on interviews' opportunities with in-house perfumer & Hermès beauty creative talents;


* Track and maintain the influencer database to ensure it is up to date and optimized;


* Create a strong loyal community of local key opinion leaders around the House perfume & beauty métiers;


* Responsible for talent discovery, cultivate and build influencer relationships;


* Orchestrate and execute local programs, events, and press previews in order to secure press and influencer attendance with qualitative and quantitative coverage;


* Dare fresh and innovative initiatives, inspired by his/her knowledge of the Hermès world and programs;


* Support and coordinate global events planning;


* Organize PR samples and shipping of products to press and influence through global creative seedings;


* Proof-read press releases translation from Italian and in-house talents' quotes in articles;


* Monitor, analyze and communicate PR and Influence results on a regular basis, and optimize based on results;


* Ensure top positions in the Hermès Rankings in perfume and beauty categories.

PROFILE


* Bachelor's and Master's degree preferably with communication focus;


* Fluency in Italian and English.

A third language will be considered an advantage;


* Professional background: previous experience in similar positions, preferably in an external press office or in the press department of a fashion house;


* Strong fashion taste and sensitivity;


* Solid cultural background and international outlook;


* Strong feeling for the times and items of social interest;


* Familiarity with the media;


* Attention to detail and quality;


* Proficient with Excel / IT tools;


* Professionalism, enthusiasm, dynamism, ease of integration and teamwork complete the profile.
