Description & Requirements

Maximus is seeking an experienced Windows Administrator to join our team.

As a Windows Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of windows-based servers and systems.

Your role will involve managing server infrastructure, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the reliability and security of the Windows environment.

• Administer and maintain Windows-based server infrastructure, including installation, configuration, and patch management

• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimization strategies to ensure performance and reliability

• Experience in Windows-based systems, such as Windows 2008/2012R2/2016R2

• Create and maintain documentation related to system configurations, procedures, and SOPs

• Ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness by implementing appropriate backup and restoration strategies

• Support the mitigation and assessment of vulnerabilities

• Perform regular system backup and recovery procedures.

• Manage user accounts, active directories, and group policies.

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot the local and wide area network applications, including software development tools and operating systems

Minimum Requirements

TCS220, T4, Band 7

• Active Secret clearance is required.

• Due to agency and contract requirements, candidates must be U.S.

citizens with no dual citizenship.

• This contract supports systems that require 24x7x365 uptime.

Candidates must be willing and able to meet recall requirements, including participation in a rotational on-call schedule.

• Telework: Candidates must reside within a commutable distance and be available to work onsite at the customer's discretion.

This includes being on-site during the transition period.

Must be based around Colorado Springs, CO.

• This position requires a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.

• 7+ Years of experience supporting Windows or related experience is required.

• Desired: Certified in Microsoft MCSA and MCSE
