Position Overview

The Technical Sales coordinator/administrative support is responsible for customer service and technical sales functions for Morgan Truck Body.

The position is responsible for providing support to the current Technical Sales team, Finance and Engineering departments.

Responsibilities include administrative support for a handful of detailed, time-consuming, yet critical technical sales duties.

This role will also closely interface with Regional Sales Managers and with the Northeast distributor network.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated strong customer service skills, as well as strong computer skills, including Word, Excel and Outlook.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Monitor and manage a high volume of email and email correspondence, communication is key.

Answer phone calls in a timely manner; return calls promptly, when required

Work closely with Technical Sales Representatives (TSRs), Regional Sales Managers (RSMs), distributor network and customers to provide customer support on all levels

Respond promptly and process quickly all administrative tasks, such as but not limited to, cancellations, credit memos, change orders, manual invoices, new customer master set up.

Education and Experience


* Minimum Bachelor's degree.


* Minimum 4 years of experience in customer service or sales administration.

Automotive industry experience a plus.


* Excellent computer skills, especially Word, Excel and Outlook.


* Excellent data entry and organizational skills.


* JDE experience, a plus.


* Excellent email, phone and communication skills.


* Ability to work flexible hours on a continual basis to support North American business activities.


* Strong follow-up and follow-through skills.


* Sales and customer service experience , a plus
