As the Operations Manager you will be responsible for demand planning, forecasting and customer care for select clients.

What you'll do on a typical day:
* Receipts and outbound shipments, replenishment activities, inventory slotting, capacity analysis, order prioritization and expedite processing
* Develop and execute operational level reporting for site level leadership team and the client
* Support Operations teams to ensure service level standards are met; adhere to all contractual obligations and ensure client compliance
* Identify growth opportunities with current customers by promoting enhanced services and/or cost savings to the customer, partner with site leadership in all customer visits, conference calls and problem-solving efforts
* Track, record and maintain planning and operations-related data; deploy planning-based metrics to ensure optimized operational efficiencies
* Support the identification and deployment of cost-saving initiatives through deployment of planning based continuous improvement initiatives within the site
* Handle all direct reports, including interviewing, hiring, onboarding, setting expectations, training and development, conducting performance reviews, etc.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
At a minimum, you'll need:
* 4 years of relevant work experience
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and computerized scanner equipment
* Availability to work a flexible schedule as needed, including planned and unplanned overtime, which may include weekends
It'd be great if you also:
* Bachelor's degree in Logistics or a related field
* 4 years of managerial/supervisory experience
* Experience in an AS9100 or ISO environment
* Lean, Six Sigma and Continuous Process Improvement knowledge and experience
* Experience in warehousing or Third-Party Logistics (3PL)
