Manufacturing Plant Manager
Horton Automatics is a leading manufacturer of automatic pedestrian entrance systems serving commercial, institutional, healthcare, transportation, and industrial markets.
Horton designs and manufactures a broad range of automatic sliding, swinging, revolving, and specialty door systems, along with related components and service solutions that support safe, reliable, and efficient building access.
The operation functions in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment, requiring strong coordination across engineering, supply chain, scheduling, quality, maintenance, and production to manage frequent product variation, custom configurations, changing customer requirements, and disciplined execution to meet delivery, cost, safety, and quality expectations.Required Competencies:

Skills / Education Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
* Ten years' experience leading in manufacturing and production.
* Fluency with assembly, machining and metal forming and finishing processes required.
* Functional knowledge of key support areas: information systems, manufacturing and industrial engineering, purchasing, materials and product management.
Physical/Work Environment Requirements:
* Typical work environment is in an office setting at the Matamoros, Mexico factory but also requires regular time in the production environment.
* Exposure to hot and cold environments in the office and factory.
* Requires close cooperation with maquiladora administrative staff to ensure disciplined execution of administrative processes, regulatory requirements, labor practices, documentation, reporting, and full compliance with applicable company, local, state, federal, and maquiladora operating requirements.
