Role Summary/Purpose The Yard Operator will independently operate standard forklifts to transport mid-size precast elements, load/unload trailers, and maintain safe, organized yard operations.

This role is essential in supporting production, shipping, and logistics.

Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts up to ~30,000 lbs.

safely and effectively.Move precast products to proper staging areas.Load/unload trailers following safety and weight protocols.Follow Lockes SOPs for handling precast elements.Assist with wheel loader, excavator, and skid steer operations.Support yard efficiency and workflow.

Requirements 6 months2 years forklift/yard experience.Forklift certification and site-specific training.Familiarity with precast handling SOPs.Basic rigging knowledge.
