Entry-Level Engineer – Construction Management
Ardurra is seeking an Entry-Level Engineer – Construction Management to join our growing Construction Management team in Snoqualmie.
Our Construction Management team supports the delivery of public infrastructure and capital improvement projects from design through construction and project closeout.
Our team works closely with clients, contractors, utilities, and project stakeholders to manage construction risk, maintain accurate project documentation, monitor contract compliance, and support successful project delivery.
Primary Function:
This position will support construction management and contract administration activities while working alongside experienced engineers, inspectors, and project managers.
The Entry-Level Engineer will gain hands-on experience with construction documentation, field observation, contractor coordination, quantity tracking, and project delivery.
This is an opportunity for an early-career engineer to develop both technical and field experience while contributing to public infrastructure projects throughout Washington.
Primary Duties:
* Support construction contract administration and project documentation.
* Assist with material submittals, requests for information, project correspondence, and contractor documentation.
* Perform field observations and document contractor activities and compliance with project plans and specifications.
* Prepare daily reports and assist with quantity tracking, progress payments, and construction records.
* Support utility, stakeholder, and contractor coordination.
* Assist with material delivery documentation, inspections, and quality oversight.
* Support environmental and regulatory compliance documentation.
* Assist with project coordination and preparation of project closeout documentation.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
* Approximately 0–2 years of relevant engineering or construction experience.
* EI/EIT certification preferred.
* Academic, internship, or professional experience with construction, transportation, utilities, or public infrastructure projects preferred.
* Familiarity with construction plans, specifications, quantities, and engineering documentation preferred.
* Experience with Microsoft Office and Bluebeam preferred.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively in both office and field environments.
Compensation and Benefits:
Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
The expected salary range for this position is $65,000 to $80,000 annually.
