For more information, visit: www.gpinet.com Responsibilities: Assist with the planning, design, and development of site engineering projects, including commercial, residential, transportation, and municipal projects.Prepare engineering design calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports under the supervision of senior engineers.Utilize design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D to develop site plans and construction documents.Support grading, drainage, stormwater management, utility, erosion and sediment control, and roadway design efforts.Coordinate with project managers, senior engineers, and surveyors.Perform site visits and field inspections to collect data, evaluate existing conditions, and monitor construction progress.Assist with permit applications and regulatory submissions.Review construction documents and shop drawings for compliance with project requirements.Participate in project meetings and contribute to technical problem-solving discussions.Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within one year preferred.Internship, co-op, or relevant engineering experience is a plus.Basic understanding of civil engineering principles, site development, grading, drainage, and utility design.Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D is a plus.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
