Human Resources Business Partner

Job Description Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner FLSA Status Exempt Department: Human Resources Employment Status Full-Time Reports To: Vice President of Human Resources Work Location /On-site/(as applicable) Position Summary The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and operational leader, partnering with business leaders to align people strategies with Extreme Steel Inc.'s business objectives.

Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, this role supports fabrication, field operations, and corporate teams by driving employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, talent management, and HR compliance.

In addition to serving as a trusted HR business partner, this position is the primary HR owner of payroll administration and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).

The HRBP ensures payroll is processed accurately and on time in partnership with Finance while maintaining the integrity, functionality, and optimization of all HRIS platforms and employee data.

Essential Responsibilities Strategic HR Partnership Partner with leaders to develop workforce strategies that support operational and organizational goals.Coach managers on employee relations, performance management, leadership development, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness.Analyze workforce trends and HR metrics to recommend improvements in retention, engagement, productivity, and organizational performance.Support change management initiatives and organizational growth.

Employee Relations & Performance Management Serve as the primary HR contact for employee relations matters, conducting investigations and resolving workplace concerns in a timely and confidential manner.Advise leaders on performance management, corrective actions, policy interpretation, and conflict resolution.Ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant employment practices.Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture.

Payroll Administration Serve as the primary HR owner for the company's payroll process, partnering closely with Finance and Payroll to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing.Review employee data changes, earnings, deductions, timekeeping, and approvals to ensure payroll accuracy.Maintain payroll-related employee records and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws.Assist in resolving payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries.Continuously evaluate payroll processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.

HRIS Administration Act as the primary HR administrator for the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).Ensure employee data integrity, system functionality, security, and ongoing maintenance.Configure and maintain organizational structures, workflows, security roles, employee records, and system updates.Partner with system vendors and IT to troubleshoot issues, implement enhancements, and coordinate upgrades.Develop reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics to support business decisi...
