Internal Services - Government & Public Services - Associate - Firm Account and Engagement Finance -
Deloitte's Government & Public Services (GPS) Account and Engagement Finance Services team supports engagement leaders with financial planning, analysis, and operational execution across the engagement lifecycle.

Work you'll do
As a Firm Account and Engagement Finance Services Associate, you will be responsible for:
* Support account and engagement finance activities, including tracking financial data, maintaining records, and preparing routine reports
* Assist with invoicing, budgeting, forecasting, and other finance support processes in accordance with established procedures
* Review financial information for completeness and accuracy and escalate discrepancies for resolution
* Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather data, respond to requests, and support engagement finance activities
* Use Deloitte systems and Microsoft Excel to organize data, prepare analyses, and maintain documentation

The team
Our GPS Account and Engagement Finance Services practice supports engagement teams in defining the requirements reflected in client contracts.
The team develops staffing, budget, and forecast assumptions using financial planning and forecasting methods to support engagement execution.
The practice also prepares cost estimates across engagement phases, activities, people, materials, hardware, and software, using project and client management tools to help keep work on track and on cost.
Qualifications
Required:
* Must be currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and expected to graduate by Spring/Summer 2027 or have completed a bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Analytics, Finance or a related/equivalent program
* Strong academic track record (3.0 cumulative GPA required)
* You must reside within a commutable distance (e.g., 100 - mile radius) by your start date and be able to commute daily, if required.
* Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
* Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.
