JJL Design & Build LLC is seeking a skilled Residential Construction Foreman to oversee and execute residential building projects from blueprint to final walkthrough.

This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional who enjoys leading crews, solving jobsite challenges, and delivering high-quality residential projects from start to finish.

You will play a critical leadership role in managing daily field operations, coordinating crews, interpreting construction plans, and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the company’s high craftsmanship standards.

Key Responsibilities



* Lead residential construction projects from plans and specifications through final punch list


* Interpret blueprints and organize crews to execute scopes of work efficiently


* Oversee daily jobsite operations to maintain productivity, safety, and quality


* Perform and assist with framing, flooring, cabinetry, painting, trim work, window, and door installation


* Coordinate schedules, jobsite progress, and updates through project management systems


* Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, internal staff, and clients


* Identify and resolve jobsite challenges through strong decision-making and problem-solving


* Maintain clean, organized, and safe worksites


* Train and mentor field team members to strengthen crew performance


* Represent JJL Design & Build professionally with clients and project stakeholders


* Support project scheduling, material coordination, and workflow planning
