Orchard Post Acute is seeking a dependable and caring Part-Time Dietary Aide to join our team! In this role, you will help prepare and serve meals while creating a welcoming dining experience for our residents.

Your attention to detail and friendly service will support their nutrition, comfort, and well-being.
Responsibilities


* Assist with meal preparation and service according to approved menus and resident dietary needs.


* Assemble meal trays with the correct foods, portions, beverages, and utensils.


* Follow instructions for special diets, food textures, and resident preferences.


* Maintain clean and sanitary kitchen, dining, and food storage areas.


* Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.


* Assist with receiving, labeling, and storing food and supplies.


* Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection prevention procedures.


* Communicate resident meal concerns to the Dietary Supervisor.


* Work cooperatively with dietary and nursing staff to provide timely, courteous service.

Qualifications


* Previous food service or healthcare dietary experience preferred.


* Willingness to learn and follow meal preparation and sanitation procedures.


* Strong teamwork, communication, and customer service skills.


* Dependable attendance and a positive attitude.


* Ability to perform essential job duties, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
