Data Engineer III

Deloitte is seeking a Data Engineer III to support the design, development, and deployment of scalable data solutions for mission-driven government clients.

This role will help build modern data platforms using Databricks and cloud-based technologies to enable analytics, artificial intelligence, and enterprise data use cases.

The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience in data engineering, strong technical execution, and the ability to contribute across the full data solution lifecycle.

As a Data Engineer III on the AI & Data team, you will be responsible for...


* Designing, developing, and deploying data engineering solutions using Databricks to support client data and analytics objectives


* Building and maintaining batch and streaming data pipelines using SQL, Python, Apache Spark, and cloud-based data technologies


* Supporting data ingestion, transformation, validation, and optimization activities across large and complex datasets


* Collaborating with technical and functional team members to translate business and system requirements into scalable data solutions


* Assisting with platform enhancements, testing, troubleshooting, and production support to improve performance, reliability, and maintainability
