Job Description:

Responsibilities:



* Partner with SRE , architecture, and application teams to implement security best practices and secure-by-design principles in the cloud .



* Partners with multiple stakeholders to plan, prioritize, and improve security initiatives to mitigate risks towards HPE networking cloud environments and assets .



* Collaborates with stakeholders such as engineering, product management, other security teams, program managers and partners to ensure effective and efficient delivery, and support of cloud security engagements.



* Monitor and improve cloud security posture across AWS, Azure, and GCP environments, leveraging metrics to drive improvements and governance .



* Support compliance activities, cloud threat detection, incident response investigations, and forensic initiatives as needed.



* Represents the security engineering team in various technical forums and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced team members.



* Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the networking organization.

Education and Experience Required:



* Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or closely related quantitative discipline.



* Typically, 7-10 years of experience .

Knowledge and Skills:



* Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript.



* Comfortable designing and implementing AI-assisted security controls.
