Center for Behavioral Health Maryland Heights

Our 20-bed inpatient hospital specializing in geriatric psychiatric care is looking for a dedicated Activity/Recreational Therapist to join our team.

Located next to NHC HealthCare Maryland Heights, our facility serves patients with cognitive and mental health needs.

Role overview:


* Lead group and individual therapeutic activities


* Observe and document patient behavior and condition


* Complete assessments and documentation per policy


* Support a safe, structured environment for patients

Requirements:


* Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy, Exercise Science, or related field


* Valid driver's license


* 1 year of recreation therapy experience in a psychiatric setting


* Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist - preferred but not required
