* Previous shipping, warehouse, or logistics experience preferred.
* Basic computer skills and experience with shipping software or ERP systems.
* Ability to read work orders, packing instructions, and shipping documentation.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Position Summary
The Shipping Associate is responsible for all aspects of preparing customer orders for timely shipment.
* Preparing and maintaining appropriate shipping documentation and records
* Track and pack customer orders in proper sequence for shipment
* Verify part numbers, quantities, revisions, and shipping documentation for accuracy.
* Utilize small cart or other hand operated equipment to move parts and product between work areas
* Receive finished goods from production and stage orders for shipment.
* Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control activities as needed.
* Maintain an organized, clean, and safe shipping area.
* Work closely with Production, Quality, Planning, and Customer Service to meet delivery schedules.
* Follow all company safety, quality, and shipping procedures.
