Quality Technician

Responsibilities

Position tests product batches and will make adjustments, as necessary, to ensure compliance with customer specifications and quality standards.

Tests incoming raw materials and maintains Certificates of Analysis (COA) from suppliers.Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience


* High School Diploma or equivalent, required


* 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, required


* 1+ years of experience in a laboratory/quality assurance environment, required


* Previous quality assurance testing experience, strongly preferred


* Previous experience with testing of viscosity and color matching preferred but not required.


* Previous experience using SAP, preferred

Other Qualifications


* Demonstrated success using problem solving techniques


* Acute vision and color perception - must be able to pass color matching and vision test


* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation, and procedure manuals


* Must have mathematical skills to add, subtract, multiply and divide.

Must have the ability to use conversions of fractions and decimals.

Must have the ability to work with different units for weight, volume, density, distance, etc.


* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) with strong data entry skills.
