Electromechanical Design Manager

Job Summary

As a Designer Team Manager, you develop and lead technical teams to drive innovation and operational excellence.

You manage competencies, foster collaboration, and ensure the efficient execution of technical strategies.

You oversee resources, processes, and methodologies to enhance delivery and promote continuous improvement.

You serve as the technical single point of contact for design or program teams throughout the product lifecycle.

You stay ahead of emerging technologies, facilitate knowledge sharing, and align technical initiatives with business needs while supporting long-term growth.

You guide the daily operations and activities of employees within your department, conducting performance reviews for direct reports.

You make independent day-to-day tactical decisions to accomplish defined results while adhering to approved budgets, policies, and procedures.

You exercise independent judgment within defined policies and procedures to solve issues, address non-routine problems, and proactively troubleshoot escalated matters.

This position will report directly to the Engineering ELM Transversal leader.

Manager will be in charge of +12 designers.

What will you do?



* Support LoB (MCB, MCCB, ACB, SPDs and LoMa offers) and Global Supply Change Manufacturing Plants in North America (production line support).



* Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time and quality delivery.



* Allocate resources effectively and balance workloads across the team.



* Supervised the creation, modifications & validation bills of materials and CAD drawings of parts and sub-assemblies in accordance with technical specifications, customer expectations and supply chain constraints.



* Supervise / executes assigned product designs changes - drawings and BOMs (bill of materials) according to technical specifications using dedicated tools (software, database, 2D and 3D CAD system).



* Support new product development projects, product evolution projects, QVEs, continuous engineering and TEX.



* Conduct design reviews and provide constructive feedback.



* Coordinates project scheduling and planning for the designers' team.



* Supervise and designoffers technical specifications to meet customer values expectations and quality goals with respect to supply chains constraints.
