Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour
Schedule: Open Availability Required (Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays)

Lincoln Meadows Care Center is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Activities Assistant to help enrich the lives of our residents.

Responsibilities


* Plan and assist with daily recreational, social, and therapeutic activities.


* Encourage resident participation in group and individual activities.


* Lead games, arts and crafts, music, exercise programs, holiday celebrations, and special events.


* Escort residents to and from activities as needed.


* Build positive relationships with residents while promoting dignity, independence, and quality of life.


* Prepare activity supplies and maintain activity areas.


* Document resident participation and assist with activity records.


* Work collaboratively with nursing staff and other departments to provide exceptional resident care.


* Follow all facility policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications


* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


* Previous experience in activities, healthcare, customer service, or working with seniors is a plus, but not required.


* Friendly, compassionate, dependable, and patient.


* Strong communication and organizational skills.


* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


* Must have open availability, including weekends and holidays.


* Must be able to meet all employment and background check requirements.
