Lone Tree Post Acute is seeking a dependable and hardworking Dietary Cook to join our team on a full-time basis.

In this role, you will prepare nutritious and appealing meals that support the health and well-being of our residents while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and sanitation.

Key Responsibilities


* Prepare and cook meals according to established menus and therapeutic diet guidelines.


* Ensure food is prepared, portioned, and served in a timely manner.


* Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures.


* Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen equipment, workstations, and storage areas.


* Monitor food temperatures and properly store food items.


* Assist with inventory management and notify supervisors of supply needs.


* Work collaboratively with dietary staff and other departments to ensure excellent resident service.


* Support special events, holiday meals, and other dietary department activities as needed.

Qualifications


* Previous cooking experience in a healthcare, skilled nursing, or food service setting preferred.


* Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and safety standards.


* Ability to follow recipes, menus, and dietary instructions.


* Strong teamwork and communication skills.


* Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.


* Food Handler Certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire).
