Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Application Development Manager to lead the development, enhancement, and support of business-critical applications for our US operations from our India-based Global Capability Center (GCC).

This role combines technical leadership, solution architecture, and people management, ensuring high-quality delivery of custom solutions aligned with business needs.

The ideal candidate will oversee a multi-technology development team while actively contributing to solution design, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Application Development & Support


* Manage end-to-end development and support of enterprise applications used by US business teams.


* Oversee customization, enhancement, and maintenance of existing systems.


* Ensure timely resolution of production issues and continuous system improvements.


* Drive best practices in coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.

2.

Technical Leadership & Solution Architecture


* Act as a solution architect for complex business requirements, providing scalable and efficient designs.


* Evaluate and recommend appropriate technologies and frameworks for new initiatives.


* Ensure alignment of technical solutions with enterprise architecture and business strategy.

3.

Team Management


* Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers across multiple technology stacks.


* Drive performance management, skill development, and career growth of team members.


* Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

4.

Stakeholder Collaboration


* Work closely with US-based business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.


* Collaborate with functional, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure seamless delivery.


* Act as a bridge between business and technical teams across geographies.

5.

Delivery & Governance


* Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with high quality.


* Establish and enforce development standards, governance, and processes.


* Manage risks, dependencies, and change requests effectively.
