Construction Inspector
Ardurra is seeking a Construction Inspector to join our team in Charlotte, NC.

Primary Function
Ideal candidates will have previous experience in site infrastructure projects, observing contractor's construction activities, and reviewing work for compliance with drawings and specifications.
Primary Duties
* Knowledge of, and ability to interpret, technical specifications, contract requirements, engineering drawings, and standard construction details are critical requirements of the position.
* Responsibilities will include observing that the work is completed in general accordance with the drawings and specifications, daily field reporting, tracking contractor's installed quantities, witnessing tests, documenting test results and serving as liaison between engineer, contractor, and adjacent residents and businesses.
* Typical projects include water/wastewater, aviation, transportation, infrastructure, municipal, and site civil engineering
* Strong verbal and written communication skills and familiarity with operating smart devices and computer preferred.
* Qualified candidates may work on one or more projects simultaneously.
Education and Experience Requirements
* High School diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred
* 5+ years in the Construction field or Construction Management/Field Services with experience supporting projects in water/wastewater, civil, aviation, water resources, or transportation engineering required
* Relevant construction certifications a plus
